Jackson Family Released A Statement!

Janet Jackson has posted a link on her website, to the statement brlow made on behalf of her family by their lawyer, Brian Panish.

My name is Brian Panish. I am the attorney and friend of the Jackson family. They have asked me to read this statement on their behalf.

There is no way to adequately describe the loss of our beloved father, son, brother, and friend. We still look at each other in disbelief – is it really possible that he is gone? As Michael’s parents, we could never have imagined that we would live to witness his passing; it is simply against the natural order of things. As his brothers and sisters, we will never be able to hold, laugh or perform with our brother again. And as his children, we will grow up without a father: our best friend, our playmate, our dad.

We are not here to seek revenge. There is nothing you can do today that will bring Michael back. But we will keep the love in our hearts that Michael embodied throughout his life – his passion was for unifying the world through the gift of his artistry.

We respectfully request that you impose a sentence that reminds physicians that they cannot sell their services to the highest bidder and cast aside their Hippocratic oath to do no harm. As we all know from this tragedy, doing so can have devastating results.

The Bible reminds us that men cannot really do justice, they can only seek justice. That is all that we, as a family, can ask for here

Dr. Conrad Murray Found Guilty Of Manslaughter

Michael Jackson personal physician, was unanimous found guilty of involuntary manslaughter after six-weeks of testimony 

after nine hours of deliberation, the jury of seven men and five women came back with an uncontested decision of guilty! Murray faces up to four years in prison and the loss of his medical license upon sentencing.

 Joe and Katherine Jackson as well as siblings Randy, Jermaine and La Toya Jackson, were present for the ruling

Murray has since been cuffed and taken to jail without the chance of posting bail. His sentencing is scheduled to take place on November 29th.

Michael Jackson’s Assistant Recalls Convo With Dr. Conrad Murray

As day two of  Michael Jackson trail against Dr. Conrad Murray took place earlier today, the courtroom saw an array of witnesses take the stand to recount the days ahead of  MJ's death.

Michael Jackson’s personal assistant testified Wednesday about a 35-second phone conversation and an encounter at the hospital with Dr. Conrad Murray on the day the superstar died.

Michael Amir Williams, who began work as Jackson’s assistant in mid-2007, was asked about a phone call he received from a “frantic” Murray as Jackson was dying in the bedroom of a rented Holmby Hill mansion. Williams was in downtown Los Angeles at the time, about 30 to 40 minutes from the Carolwood Drive mansion.

“He said, ‘Get here right away, Mr. Jackson had a bad reaction. Get somebody up here immediately,”’ Williams said.

Williams later arrived at the mansion to see Jackson being loaded into an ambulance. The first thing he asked about was the location of Jackson’s children, who were soon brought to a car that would follow the ambulance to the hospital, Williams said.

“After learning the Jackson had been pronounced dead, he said Murray approached him in a hallway.

“We were making small talk about how horrible this is, and he said, ‘There’s some cream in Michael’s room that he wouldn’t want the world to know about,’” said Williams. “He requested that I give him a ride back to the house so the world wouldn’t know about the cream.”

To day was an emotional day of testimony in the case. Jackson sister LaToya Jackson tweeted during the lunch break,

“It’s so excruciating to relive the moments when Mike pasted . It’s even hard to pretend to be strong for my mother.”

Audio Recording Of Michael Jackson Under The Influence Of Propofol!

The opening of Dr. Conrad Murray’s manslaughter trial was today it started with the prosecution playing  recordings of the late Michael Jackson speaking while under the influence of propofol.

On May 10, 2009 at 9:05 am, the recordings made on Murray's Iphone contained Jackson’s remarks regarding his “This Is It” concert series in London, England.  the recording documents MJ highly under the influence as Murray sat there and taped it. 

It shows Murray knew Michael’s state and what he was doing to the singer. The audio along with a picture of  Michael Jackson lying dead in a hospital bed were part of the opening statement prosecutors made at the trial of Dr. Conrad Murray, who is accused of involuntary manslaughter in the death of the king of pop.

Your a Dr.. or so called Dr. why wouldn't convince the man not to take these drugs... or something come on.. instead you record him!

Janet Jackson Not Attending 'Tribute Concert' For Brother Michael

Janet Jackson announced that she will not be attend a planned tribute concert for her older brother Michael that is scheduled in Wales . Her reason well the show coincides with the trial of a doctor charged in the King of Pop’s death.

“Because of the trial, the timing of this tribute to our brother would be too difficult for me."

Her statement comes on her brother’s 53rd birthday.

The show is scheduled for Oct. 8 in Cardiff, Wales, Michaels mom Katherine, and Michaels Children are scheduled to attend.
