2011 EMA Winners !!

The 2011 MTV European Music Awards was held in Belfast, Northern Ireland on Sunday, as Selena Gomez hosted. The big winner was Lady Gaga won four trophies including Best Song for "Born This Way," as well as Best Video, Best Female and Biggest Fans.

Artist that performed included Justin Bieber, Katy Perry other artisit like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bruno Mars, Coldplay and LMFAO treated the crowd to energetic hosting.

The night also included a tribute to the late singer Amy Winehouse performed via a touching video tribute by Jessie J.  Queen was doted with the Global Icon award which Katy Perry gave to them.  There was also band members Brian May and Roger Taylor joined by Adam Lambert for a medley including "'The Show Must Go On," "We Will Rock You" and "We Are The Champions".

Sounds like a great show!!

Lady Gaga Starts Born This Way Foundation

Lady Gaga launched the  ‘Born This Way Foundation, its a nonprofit focusing on youth empowerment and “issues like self-confidence, well-being, anti-bullying, mentoring and career development.’’

The singer will direct the foundations efforts alongside her mother Cynthia Germanotta.

In a statement, Gaga said:

“Together we hope to establish a standard of Bravery and Kindness, as well as a community worldwide that protects and nurtures others in the face of bullying and abandonment’’

Lady Gaga In India Performs "Marry The Night"

While in New Delhi, India, for the Formula 1 Grand Prix, Lady Gaga treated fans to the the very first live performance of fifth Born This Way single “Marry The Night“.

Lady Gaga has done it again, Sh was spotted around the meatpacking district in stilts last night while dressed in red, head-to-toe. 

We are told that she was in NYC for a shoot with Vanity Fair, asking who took the photo's none other than legendary Annie Leibowitz.

I have to say i am impressed that she can "werk"  those shoes!!

Madonna Call's Gaga Love For Her "Superficial"

Madonna slammed Gaga by saying she is"obsessed" with me. In the interview with Le Soir, a French-language Belgian magazine, last week at the Venice Film Festival.

Madge said:

“As for Lady GaGa, I have no comment to make about her obsessions having to do with me because I don’t know whether her behavior is rooted in something deep and meaningful, or superficial.”

Madonna’s rep, Liz Rosenberg says;

“Madonna has said nothing negative about Gaga!"

ummm, Liz; I have to disagree with you there, why did Madge say the word superficial??

Madonna has taken a hit at Lady Gaga by reportedly saying the out-there singer is obsessed with her. Talking to a French reporter for Le Soir, Madge said:

Lady GaGa Idolized Amy Winehouse & Want To Play Her In A Movie???

Rumours are flying around thatt Lady Gaga idolized the late Amy Winehouse and wants to play her in a movie. According to a British tabloid,

“Lady Gaga worshiped Amy and would love nothing more than to transform herself into her idol on the big screen. She’d be spot on performing Amy’s songs and has got the right look and bolshy attitude…Gaga’s management team had been discussing possible film ventures before Amy’s untimely death. But there’s only ever been one role she wants and that’s to play Amy.”

When Gaga heard of Amy's paasing she said,

“I am just so devastated and so sad. I really could not speak for 48 hours straight; I was in such shock. She was the most lovely and nice and kind woman.”
