Happy birthday to Jennifer Lopez, she celebrates her 42nd birthday today, The American Idol judge was seen in Miami attending her birthday dinner on friday, some of the attendes were her powerhouse manager, Benny Medina.

Lopez is currently in Miami and will be spending her birthday weekend without her husband, Marc Anthony, who she split from after 7 years of marriage recently. 

The trip to Miami comes after Miss Lopez spent the past few days in Atlanta where she's filming a new ensemble movie titled "What to Expect When You're Expecting" alongside Elizabeth Banks and Chris Rock. Rumors have it that the celebration will be held with celebrity friends such as Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.

Jennifer Lopez's Performs On "American Idol" While Jacob Lusk Is Sent Home!

 FOX awaited performance, was Jennifer Lopez was the center of attention during Top 5 night on "American Idol" on Thursday.

The 41-year-old superstar took the stage to perform her new single "On The Floor" joined by rapper Pitbull, who kicked things off as he worked his way through the audience. Once finished up and changed to her regular judging duty garb, Lopez also debuted the video her new single, "I’m Into You," which features Lil' Wayne.

As for the contestants, tonight's "Idol" saw contender Jacob Lusk was sent home after his awful rendition of Chris Brown and Jordin Sparks‘ “No Air”.
