MTV 30th Birthday

The  "Let it Burn" singer was on hand to help MTV celebrate it 30th birthdayyesterday.  Usher reportedly rang the bellat  the New York Stock Exchange.

Back on August 1, 1981, the famed music channel took to the airwaves with the aptly named clip "Video Killed the Radio Star."

You are probably asking yourself why was Usher so lucky well.

Usher first rose to fame during the '90s with hits "My way," "You Remind Me" and "U Got It bad," and continues to tear up various MTV countdowns today with "DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love" and more.

Happy birthday to Jennifer Lopez, she celebrates her 42nd birthday today, The American Idol judge was seen in Miami attending her birthday dinner on friday, some of the attendes were her powerhouse manager, Benny Medina.

Lopez is currently in Miami and will be spending her birthday weekend without her husband, Marc Anthony, who she split from after 7 years of marriage recently. 

The trip to Miami comes after Miss Lopez spent the past few days in Atlanta where she's filming a new ensemble movie titled "What to Expect When You're Expecting" alongside Elizabeth Banks and Chris Rock. Rumors have it that the celebration will be held with celebrity friends such as Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.
